How to make raw chocolate brownies
Recipe (Makes 9 brownies)

Base ingredients:
• 2 cups raw walnuts
• 1/2 cup raw cashews
• 1 1/2 cups pitted dates (If your dates are firm, soak them in water for 1 hour before use)
• 1 cup raw cacao powder
• 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
• 1/4 tsp pink Himalayan salt

To make glaze:
• 1/2 cup coconut oil
• 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
• 1/2 cup coconut nectar or pure maple syrup


Place all base ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processor. Work until the mixture easily sticks together.

Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper. Press brownie mixture into the prepared dish.

Melt the coconut oil over low heat in a medium pot. Remove from heat and whisk in the cacao powder and the coconut syrup until combined and smooth. Then pour the glaze over the top of brownies. Place in the fridge to chill before cutting brownies into squares.

To keep them fresh you should store in the fridge in an airtight container.
